Counting by 2’s Practice Sheet – Kindergarten Prep – FREE PRINTABLE

Published April 18, 2015 by MisMandie

So Em and I have been working on her counting by 2’s and she was doing well but would get stuck after 20…. She just wasn’t seeing the pattern.  So I made up a chart to help her see the way the numbers change.  It was a hit she had that great AhHa! moment.  So I took it a step further and made this sheet to see if she could fill in the blanks and, just like that, she got it all filled in and started to recite them all the way to 100.  First while looking at the page then again with it flipped over.

We spent weeks trying orally to explain it to no avail.  Now, after only about 30 min seeing it in this format she has it down.

I couldn’t be more proud of my big girl! ❤

Give it a try with your little ones and comment here to let me know if not helps!!

Next up 5’s!!

Felt Board – Number Practice (Part 1)

Cut simple shapes out of felt for each number. I chose to match the colors as my daughter is still in the early stages of learning them, but if you want more of a challenge you can mix the colors of shapes and numbers all up so it won’t be so obvious.

Felt sticks to felt, so that is really all you have to do!

Easter Egg Counting Game

Published February 13, 2012 by MisMandie

Very Simple Game to make for your little ones in just minuets! You can fill your eggs with any objects that will interest your kids and fit in the eggs. (Mine is obsessed with princesses right now!) I found these in the scrapbook section of the dollar store a while back for a party (we were decorating foam crowns) and had a bunch leftover!  You can change them out too to keep it interesting for them.

Please beware of choking hazards depending on the age and maturity of your child!
