Colorful Easter Craft – Great Cards for the Grandparents!

Published April 5, 2012 by MisMandie

What you will need:

  • Paper
  • Glue
  • Colorful Cereal (I used Fruit Loops)
  • Cookie Tray or Box Lid

What to do:

  • Crush your cereal up into very small bits and place in a bowl (I found that the smaller the better!)
  • Draw a design onto your paper with the glue (I printed out coloring pages I found online and traced them, but you can free hand if you want)
  • Place your paper on the cookie tray to contain the mess and have your child cover the paper completely with the cereal bits.  Once it is fully covered pick up the paper and shake of the excess cereal to reveal your design
  • Fill in any missed spaces if needed and let dry

Now you can cut out your art and paste onto card stock to make Easter cards for the grandparents or just leave them as is and hang on the fridge, whatever you like!

Tip: If you have a dog make sure you hang them HIGH on the fridge so they don’t get eaten while you sleep! 🙂
