What You Will Need:
- Pictures (cut from books of printed from internet – The ones I used are attached to this post)
- 2 Sheets of Card Stock
- Laminater (optional – If you do not have one you can sandwich the photos between clear packing tape)
What to do:
Select your pictures and cut them out then cut into sections. You will see that I chose photos of varying shapes and reinforced the shape with a thick black outline to add to the educational factor.
Laminate each piece so that there is enough room in between to form a solid seal and then trim leaving a small border around the edges. Then stack both sheets of card stock neatly and laminate them together for added stability – This will be the board.
Cut your Velcro into small pieces and attach to the backs of each piece then to the board making sure they line up they way you want them to. (it is best to do a dry run layout first so that you can move and adjust if you need to)
If you want to you can outline each individual puzzle’s assembled outline to help your little one figure it out.
When they get bored with these pictures you can simply remove the pieces and make it brand new again. The adhesive should come right off the laminated board so all you will need to do is print and laminate the photos you want to use.
